In tiling work, both new installations and refurbishments, there is often a need to apply a waterproof coating to walls and floors - the process is known as Tanking.

This is to protect the substrates themselves from effects of water, and guard against the penetration of water to other parts of the building.

In domestic showers, power showers,wet rooms & bathrooms in fact wherever water must be kept in its place, the best answer - in terms of performance and cost is the tanking system.

Consisting of a liquid-applied waterproof membrane, sealing gaskets for service pipes and sealing tapes for vertical and horizontal joints, the PCI LASTOGUM X SYSTEM provides a perfect background for subsequent tile- fixing.
